Lakeport TN Noreen Born May 21, 2017, out of Nicole, sired by Timber, Noreen is a red long legged heifer. A Kacy granddaughter, this line consistently throws calves that are our highest quantity milk producers (up to 4 gallons per day). Lakeport KRN Nyssa is a very feminine long legged dun heifer. Born on April 11, 2017, Nyssa is out of Noelle, sired by King’s Ransom. Ransom was sired by King (out of Luc, sired by Mike) out of our beautiful Whoopie. Ransom has stamped his calves with very large eyes. We have anxiously awaited Ransom’s first set of calves and have not been disappointed. These babies are very showy with a high head set and alert posture. Noelle is out of one of our very nice udder lines. This line began with a cow named Macey. We have retained 2 Macey daughters (Noelle and Tink), 3 granddaughters, and 1 great granddaughter. Lakeport KRS Trooper is a short legged black bull calf. Born May 18, 2017, Trooper is out of Pilar's Serendipity sired by King's Ransom. Trooper had a bit of a rough start to life. He was a bit worn out and needed to be tubed to get mom's colostrum. By the next morning, he was able to nurse on his own and is doing just fine now. Whether it was because of all of the extra personal attention and handling, or just because of good genetics, this little guy has the sweetest temperament. Lakeport DD Darcy is a black (carries red and dun) long legged heifer. Born January 1, 2017, this little girl was sired by our main show bull, Dylan, out of Dora (traditional lines). Dora is out of another one of our best udder lines, which began with a cow named Lady. This line has an extremely long floor with very widely spaced long finger like teats and excellent fore and hind attachment. We have 2 Lady daughters, and 9 granddaughters in our breeding program. All of these girls have absolutely beautiful udders. With Dylan as a sire (out of Tia Faye, sired by Mike), we have high hopes for this little girl. Lakeport TJ Jaden is a short legged red (carries dun) bull calf. Born April 18, 2017, Jaden was sired by Timber out of Josie. Timber is one of our oldest bulls. He consistently throws beautiful thick calves with straight legs and toplines. Because he has been getting up in age, we’ve had our eyes open for a replacement for Timber for a few years now, but have been unable to find a bull that we like better. Josie is one of our nicest show cows. Out of our Kacey udder line which has our greatest capacity (3-4 gallons), excellent fore and rear attachment, and widely spaced finger like teats, Josie has beaten multiple National Champion Dexter cows at our local fair (taking 2nd overall only to Whoopie). Our Kacey udder line which has our greatest capacity (3-4 gallons), excellent fore and rear attachment, and widely spaced finger like teats. We have retained 2 of Rein’s daughters (Josie and Regan) over the years. These girls are two of our top show cows, each having beaten multiple Dexter National Champions at our local fair. This line has ample capacity, wide teat spacing, and excellent fore and rear attachment. Out of Tink, Riley’s line has thicker teats that are more suited for hand milking. Though still young, Roman appears to be more of a proportional short. This line produces some of our deepest bodied Dexters. Dylan is our top show bull. This boy has a ton of potential. Tessa is a granddaughter out of our Kacy udder line. This line is our top production line with girls milking 3-4 gallons per day. From her first lactation, Tessa’s udder has been one of our largest and finest. This line of cows consistently produces beefy, thick, fast growing calves. Tessa is very deep bodied. This is our friendliest line of Dexters; calves are especially well suited for people who are new to cattle, families with children, or for families that want to raise family milk cows. Regan was shown as a yearling and took first place for her age category. As Regan’s first calf, we have been very impressed with how well/quickly Roger is growing, but without a history, Regan has not earned a reputation as a consistent producer yet and her calf, though very high quality has been priced accordingly. Lakeport KV Vance is a dun short legged bull calf. Born January 7, 2017, Vance was sired by King out of Vanna. Vanna is an absolutely stunning first calf heifer with a deep body and beautiful lines. Sired by Mike, she has a very nice udder for a first calf heifer with great attachment and widely spaced finger like teats. Her mother is a family milk cow that produces 2-3 gallons of milk per day. Vance is a line-bred calf with 25% Mike coming from each parent. We could not be more pleased with the results; it’s like having a Mike calf on site again. Vance is very outgoing and docile. He is curious and comes to get a good scratch when we feed the two bottle baby heifers in his herd. Not only do I really like the temperament on this boy, but he is very well put together, too. Lakeport TL Landon is a red short legged bull calf. Born April 24, 2017, Landon was sired by Timber out of Lindy. Lindy is a great granddaughter out of our Lady udder line. This line has very widely spaced long fingerlike teats with excellent attachment. Landon’s pedigree has some of the best names from our Dexter herd, including Lady I, Lady II, Duncan, Mike, Tia Faye, Dylan, and Timber. Landon is just about as cute as a shorty bull calf can be. Lakeport TW Stihl is a red shorty bull calf. Born April 11, 2017, Stihl was sired by Timber out of Willow. This calf is a line bred boy. Because Timber is getting older, we’ve been looking for a replacement prospect for the last few years and hoped that we would get a long legged bull as nice as he… Willow was sired by Timber out of Wren, so Stihl is 75% Timber. Stihl is a very docile and extremely sweet calf, but we have 5 short legged herd sires at this time, so this little boy needs a herd of his own. Stihl is priced at $1300. SOLD

Lakeport RPM Max is a polled black (carries red) long legged A1/A2 yearling bull. Born November 28, 2015, Max was sired by Rebel Patriot out of Mazie. Mazie has one of the nicest show udders on our farm. She has excellent fore and rear attachment and widely spaced long finger like teats. Mazie consistently throws some of our sweetest and most outgoing calves. Max is very calm and easy to work with. Though naturally polled (born without horns), Max has very few polled ancestors. He is part of a project we were working on to minimize the polled ancestors while retaining the polled head. Or goal was to provide polled Dexters that perform like a Dexter should. Max is priced at $1500.
